Experiencing Civil Rights

This video came out of a field experience I took with my students from my Senior Seminar: The Rhetoric of U.S. Social Movements — Spring 2019.  The experience allowed us to go beyond the primary texts of the class and immerse ourselves in this interactive experience.  Students wrote reviews of their time at the center and focused in on a couple of artifacts for analysis.
